Who Can Vote
All Italian citizens residing abroad who are at least 18 (House elections) and 25 (Senate elections) years of age and who are registered in the voter lists that will be compiled based on an updated listing of residents abroad resulting from the unification of the AIRE (Italian Residents Abroad Registry) and Consular Office registries.
In order to bring the data up to date, Law 459 stipulates that voters are required to update their personal information in the attached personal data form and return the compiled form in the enclosed pre-stamped envelope to the notifying Consular Office within 30 days from receipt of same. This form, which has been precompiled by the Consular Office, must be returned even in cases when no changes to the information are required.
